NASA Administrator Bill Nelson confirmed Friday that the James Webb Space Telescope will attempt to blast off on Dec. 24. A European Ariane rocket will provide the lift from South America's French Guiana.

WASHINGTON — The European Space Agency has selected a Venus orbiter as its next medium-class science mission, just a week after NASA announced the section of two Venus missions of its own.

This is the Gemini Solar Eclipse that you may have seen today. This fascinating scene is formed when The Moon blocks The Sun. This makes the light it emits darker and gives it the name 'The Ring Of Fire' as it looks like a ring of fire in the sky. It was at it's fullest in the UK at 11:05am. If you haven't seen it then don't worry, you may catch a different eclipse in some years time.
